Looking for a way to spend some quality time with your furry friends? Then giddy up on down to the 17th annual Mutt Strut this Saturday, August 20 at Coyote Point Park! The Mutt Strut is a great way to help the Peninsula Humane Society-SPCA raise money to care for animals of all kinds.
Staring at 9 am, you can watch dog demonstrations, see entertainment, browse vendor booths, win prizes and more! You can enter your canine friends in the Most Talented or Best Costumed contests.
There is a 1k walk and the longer 3k walk that takes you all way around the Coyote Point park. The PHS-SPCA is asking that every strutter try to raise $100, which means that if you ask 10 people to pledge $10 each it should be an easy goal to reach, especially for such a worthy cause. The more money that is raised the more the PHS-SPCA can do for animals.
So head on down to Coyote Point Park in San Mateo this Saturday, August 20, 2011, and enjoy a little strut with your mutt!
