It’s that time of year again to moo-sy on up to the annual Kings Mountain Art Fair for three days of fun, food and some mighty fine art to look at or buy. The Kings Mountain Art Fair has been around for 54 years and benefits the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade and other cowmunity activities, including the Kings Mountain Elementary School. The Fair is run completely by local volunteers so come on out and support your neighbors.
If you get there early you can get breakfast which is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Cookshack. Don’t worry if you come a little later because starting at 11:30 to 4:30 lunch will be available. And don’t miss the Cookie Booth!
There is something for everyone to enjoy; sculpture, paintings, music, crafts, jewelry. Kiddie Hollow is where kids have their own dedicated space and, for a small fee to cover cost of supplies, they can make their own art at supervised booths.
Admission to the fair and parking is free so come and enjoy the redwoods and mingle with your neighbors. We hope to see you there. For more information on the attending artists or the fair you can go to the Kings Mountain Fair website here.
