Moo-sy on up to the annual Kings Mountain Art Fair for three days of fun, food and some mighty fine art to look at or buy. The Kings Mountain Art Fair has been around for nearly 50 years and benefits the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade and other cowmunity activities, including the Elementary School. The Fair is run completely by local volunteers so come on out and support your neighbors.
Bring some cash so you can buy breakfast and lunch and the world’s largest cookies! All cookie proceeds benefit the Kings Mountain Elementary School. This is a great event for the kids. For a small fee, they can hang out at Kiddie Hollow where, among other activities, they can make their own art at supervised booths. Parents relax and can watch their younguns from the Parent’s Retreat which overlooks Kiddie Hollow.
There is something for everyone to enjoy; sculpture, paintings, music, crafts, jewelry. Admission and parking is free so come and enjoy the redwoods and mingle with your neighbors. We hope to see you there. For more information on the attending artists or the fair you can go to the Kings Mountain Fair website here.
