Countdown to Halloween

October 8, 2007

halloween_frankencow_2007.jpgThere are some exciting opportunities in the area that will provide a fun, entertaining, and even frightening night as one of our favorite holidays is approaching. Below are a few adventures worth the trip in the area!

Take you and your young ones down to the 28th annual Grandpa Kevin’s Pumpkin Patch at 4240 El Camino in Palo Alto. It has fun features such as a giant slide, a jumper and a choo-choo train coming soon. This exciting location is open from Sept. 28-Oct. 31.

For the little calves, head on over to Halloween Spooktacular at the Red Morton Community Center in Redwood City for some carnival games, a mad scientist lab, graveyard photo backgrounds, and a costume parade at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27

While in the area, make sure to stop by Scare on the Square, a series of Halloween-inspired outdoor movie nights on the Courthouse Square in Redwood City. You can see a listing of times and movies at redwoodcity.org.

Or perhaps a visit to the Second Annual Spook Night with Dave Keane at Kepler’s in Menlo Park will suit you better. The local author will be entertaining kids of all ages with tricks and treats. Visit keplers.com for more information!

Everybody here at COW wishes you an exciting and safe Halloween!
