The annual Kings Mountain Art Fair will be held Saturday, Sunday & Monday September 5, 6 and 7, 2009 from 10 am – 5 pm. This yearly celebration showcases work from some of the most talented local artists. Fun for the little ones includes Kiddie Hollow, a wonderful place for them to do art work as well as to kick up their hooves running and playing.
For over 40 years the Kings Mountain Art Fair has enabled artists and artisans to share their work with our COWmunity. The redwoods above our Town on scenic highway 35 provide a tranquil and beautiful setting for the handmade crafts and creations.
There is something for everyone whether you like sculpture, painting, music, kid crafts, jewelry or even fresh local honey and handmade soap. The Fair also has scrumptious food for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10:30 and Lunch from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. We would be remiss if we failed to mention the ever popular cookie booth with the world’s largest cookies!
Admission is free, so come enjoy the Labor Day weekend, mingle with your neighbors and support our local artists. For more information on the attending artists or the fair itself you can go the Kings Mountain Fair website here.
